Great Outdoors Colorado, which invests state lottery revenues in outdoor recreation, land conservation and wildlife, will bring its statewide listening tour to Sterling Tuesday, Aug. 12, to gather input for its 2015 strategic plan.
The Sterling event—one of 14 interactive sessions planned in communities from Silverthorne, Pueblo and Lamar to Grand Junction—is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Sterling Public Library, 420 N. 5th St.
There will be refreshments and door prizes. To RSVP, visit goco.org/strategicplan. The public is invited to help GOCO set funding priorities for the next 5-10 years for Colorado’s parks, trails, wildlife, rivers and open spaces, including working ranches.
