3 honored at Emerald Awards

On Thursday, April 20, Holyoke community members gathered at the Peerless Theatre to celebrate three outstanding educators of the Holyoke School District at the 14 Annual Emerald Awards. Recipients included Lori Nelson, business teacher, as Leader Among Us, above at left; Brenda Krueger, payroll director, Heart Award winner, first; and Kali Hines, science teacher and Rookie of the Year, pictured second.  Pictured third, Holyoke Enterprise advertising manager Emmy Brown stands back as Marcia Dalton shakes Holyoke Superintendent Kyle Stumpf’s hand, accepting a sponsor certificate on behalf of Heidi’s Cakes At The Oak Tree.
