Eight teams were represented by 256 competitors at Saturday’s meet. Holyoke had a strong presence at the meet with 47 swimmers.

The coaches were very pleased with Holyoke’s performance on Saturday. Coach Adria Colver was particularly impressed with how close the team competition was for first place. She attributed some of the success to increased size of this year’s team but also thought the results reflected the determination of the Holyoke swimmers.

“This team is not afraid to leave their comfort zone, both at practice and at meets,” added Colver.
