The crown is up for grabs as six seniors contend for the honor of being named HHS Homecoming king and queen this Friday night, Oct. 5. Queen candidates this year are pictured from left, bottom row, Lindsay Helgoth, Erin Vieselmeyer and Elissa Baker; and king candidates, top row, Ben Martinez, Brett Cumming and Jesus Hermosillo.

They will appear in “The Year of the Dragon” Homecoming parade Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. along Interocean Avenue, followed by a pep rally at the courthouse lawn. Crowning will take place at halftime of Friday’s football game, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
