| Jr. high wrestling has five champs at Akron tourney |

Holyoke Junior High wrestling was back in business Saturday, Feb. 25 when the Dragons competed at the Akron tournament after a break in the action of almost two weeks. Five champs and four other placewinners were named at the end of the day. Earning first-place honors were Issac Brandt, Fernando Lopez, Marquez Harvey, Sidney Struckmeyer and Cavin Kramer. Also placing in the action were Fernando Rojo, second; Taylor Mayden, third; and Tony Roberts and Cody Lamm, fourth. Individual win-loss records from the Akron tourney last Saturday follow: 106 lbs.—Issac Brandt, 3-0 for first place; Tony Roberts, 2-2 for fourth place. 110 lbs.—Fernando Lopez, 2-0 for first place. 118-122 lbs.—Gunnar Kroeger, 0-2. 126 lbs.—Taylor Mayden, 3-1 for third place; Zach Churchwell, 0-2. Lt. hwt.—Cavin Kramer, 2-0 for first place. Hwt.—Marques Harvey, 3-0 for first place; Cody Lamm, 2-2 for fourth place; Tristan Sullivan, 0-2. Hvy hwt.—Sidney Struckmeyer, 3-0 for first place; Fernando Rojo, 1-1 for second place. JH wrestlers traveled to Merino Feb. 27, with results to appear in next week’s Enterprise. The season will close Monday, March 5 with the league tournament in Akron.
