|Local Health Fair coming Saturday|

East Phillips County Hospital District will host its annual health fair on Saturday, March 21 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Holyoke High School.
Those who had their blood drawn will be able to pick up their lab results and visit with a provider about them that day. Drs. Dennis Jelden and Kevin Cuccinelli as well as Judy Sudmeier and Deana O’Gorman will be present for this purpose.
Also, those who haven’t had their blood drawn will be able to do so on Saturday. Those planning to do so need to fast for 12 hours before the test. Results will not be available on the same day, but can be picked up later at the hospital.
Making her debut in the Holyoke community will be Dr. Danielle McClellan, who will join the Family Practice staff this summer. Since she will not be officially practicing until the summer, she will not be practicing medicine at the fair, nor will she interpret results or provide clinical advice. However, she will be available to meet members of the community and talk about what she will be doing when she starts..
In addition, providers will be on hand to offer eye and ear checks, height, weight, blood pressure and body fat analysis and screenings for anxiety and depression as well as for peripheral vascular disease. A massage therapist will also be available along with many additional educational booths and stations.
According to MMH administrator John Ayoub, there may be one or two other providers who show up, but are not confirmed. As usual, the MMH Foundation will also use the Health Fair as its opportunity to kick off its annual amateur triathlon.
