Three HHS football players earned All-Conference recognition in the North Central League, while three others were given Honorable Mention honors for the 2010 season.

Dragon team members earning All-Conference first-team honors are junior Broc Pelle and sophomores Jesus Hermosillo and Brett Cumming.

Honorable mention honors were earned by juniors Austin Killin and Parker Redfern and sophomore Astolfo Rojo.

Wray made it to the state championship, where they suffered a 7-13 loss to Burlington.

Other first-team All-Conference team members are Brett Vlasin, Jarret Cure, Ben Jones, Zach Jackson, Austin Willard, Derek Schulz, Coby Buck, Jack Schwinn, Michael Holmes and Cade Reinick of Wray; Nick Lovell, Sam Baucke, Ty Baucke and Austin Traphagen of Yuma.

Layne Crumley, Jourdan Hottinger, Chance Friedly, Logan Merrill, Caleb Christensen and Kale Hubert of Akron; Taylor Risner, Garret Walker, Travis Groves and Nathan Frihauf of Wiggins; and Colton Gardner of Highland.

Other Honorable Mention picks, in addition to Holyoke’s three, are Levi Campfield, Luke Kettelson and Colin Brauer of Wray; Preston Harms, Ashton Guy, Tel Campbell, Kody Anderson and Reed Christensen of Akron.

Alex Klopp, James Hess, Tyler Korf, Alex Frihauf, Jace Blach and Shane Terrell of Yuma; Justin Ryan, Austin Risner, Paul Sauter, Thayer Sauter and Kendall Ivie of Wiggins; and Dakota DiFancesco and Jordan Rigg of Highland.

Levi Kramer of Wray was honored as Coach of the Year, and Brett Vlasin of Wray as Player of the Year.
