Focused on getting lots of matches for the Dragon wrestlers, Holyoke accomplished that at the Eaton duals Saturday, Feb. 6.
Holyoke won two and lost three Saturday. The Dragons defeated Berthoud 34-33 and Erie 42-27 and lost to Wray 34-48, to Pueblo County 12-61 and to Greeley West 20-54.
Coach Duane Stroh said he was pleased with some of the dual outcomes, and not pleased, in particular, with the loss to Wray.
Heading into regional competition this Friday and Saturday, Stroh said the kids are in good shape, and he’s excited about regionals.
