|Fingerprinting fee to be implemented|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
This letter is intended to notify you that starting Oct. 14, 2009, the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office will be charging a $10 fee for fingerprinting applicant persons. The money from this fee will be placed into the county general funds and used for maintenance of the fingerprinter and to offset administrative costs associated with these types of fingerprints. We will not print any person who doesn’t have money to cover the fee.
We also want you to know that on or about Nov. 1, 2009, we will no longer be printing applicant cards. We will be transmitting these cards to CBI digitally. At this time we will be collecting the fee for CBI and the Sheriff’s fee.
Persons wanting to be fingerprinted must present two checks—one for CBI, the second for the Sheriff’s Office. After this day we will not fingerprint any person who doesn’t have money to cover the CBI fee and the Sheriff’s fee. If you have a “due account” with CBI please have this account number with you at time of fingerprinting. With this number, we will not collect the CBI fee.
Fee for applicant person can be found at the CBI web page www.cbi.state.co.us or on our web site at www.pcsheriff.us.
If you have any questions or concerns about these changes please don’t hesitate to contact Sheriff Rob Urbach or me at 854-3644 or www.pcsheriff.us.
