Holyoke’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) geared up for the year with a kick off event Wednesday, Aug. 19. FCA is a non-profit, interdenominational ministry that reaches out to the young athletes of the world. In Holyoke, FCA is organized for all high school students and everyone is encouraged to get involved whether they are an athlete or not.
Youth are invited to the weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Peerless Center. Throughout the year, a variety of themes will be explored including devoted nights, active or service-oriented nights and genuine/authentic nights. The group also has “living room nights” monthly when they meet at a home in the community.
