|Variety of events appreciated|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
I had the opportunity this week to sit down and read the Holyoke Enterprise. The Holyoke community is most fortunate to have such a wide array of cultural events taking place. I hear often of the Paquimé Dancers. These fine performers are making a name for themselves in the community and even on the front range. The supporting groups to the dancers enrich the whole experience. Live theatre is becoming more of a common occurrence. It is also exciting to see that young and youthful older people are engaging their hidden talents and coming forth with quality live entertainment such as The Curious Savage. Another form of art that is being addressed now is cultural cuisines. We are in the bread basket of the world and there is no reason the fine ingredients we in the community produce not be prepared in a fresh, visually stimulating, mouth watering epicurean delight but in Holyoke.
