Newspapers are a changing industry
For years, I have heard that newspapers are dying.
My retort: “Newspapers are not dying. They’re changing.”
A recent media survey proves that point.

In my June 2017 Extension column, I introduced the concept of “agvocacy.” Agvocacy simply put means to become an advocate for agriculture.
Earlier this year, an Illinois woman sent an email telling me of the poor care her husband received at a large Chicago hospital. After six weeks of fighting for his life, he died.
I bet that got some people’s blood boiling just reading the headline. That wasn’t my intention; please hear me out.
My 8-year-old son recently purchased his long awaited fidget spinner from his allowance money. His eyes were delighted, he learned new tricks, and showed it off to his friends.
