Students of the Month

    Students of the Month for March at Holyoke JR/SR High School have been named. They are senior Holden Redman, nominated by ag teacher Shauna Brown, and seventh-grader Ethan Schneller, nominated by language arts teacher Heather Bieber.
    Redman’s nomination letter read, “I would like to nominate Holden Redman for Student of the Month for March 2018. Holden constantly goes above and beyond to help the ag program and the school. In January specifically, Holden really stepped up to make sure Ag Night was a success. Holden spent many hours at school that he didn’t have to be here for working on the details of the night. He contacted many community members and was a very good representative of our school and the FFA chapter while doing so.”
    Schneller’s nomination letter read, “Ethan displays RISE to Excellence on a daily basis. He always comes to class prepared, with his assignments completed. If he is going to be absent, he is prompt in having his pre-excused slip signed and always has his work finished when he returns. He even emails me to make sure he has everything he needs. He is polite and respectful not only to adults but also to his peers. He is an extremely hard worker, volunteers to answer questions and uses his class time wisely. Ethan is a wonderful example to others because of his positive attitude and dedication to learning.”
