School holds special meeting for legal advice

    Holyoke School District Re-1J Board of Education held a special meeting Thursday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. for the purpose of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions regarding student safety matters.
    The entire meeting, which lasted 2 hours and 13 minutes, was held in executive session with legal counsel on the phone. Present for the meeting were all seven school board members, Superintendent Kyle Stumpf and Holyoke JR/SR High Principal Shane Walkinshaw.
