Royalty contend for homecoming crowns
By the end of the week, Holyoke High School will have crowned the 2018 homecoming king and queen. Until then, everyone on the court remains a contender. The senior-class candidates are pictured from left, front row, Trent Huffman, Colby Purkeypile and Chase Beckner; and back row, Brenna Sullivan, Kaylee Camblin and Savannah Burris. The crowning of king and queen will take place at halftime of the Holyoke-Burlington homecoming football game, which starts at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5. Dragon fans will also have the opportunity to see the royalty at the homecoming parade heading south down Interocean Avenue this Friday at 2 p.m.
