MMHF awards scholarships

Melissa Memorial Hospital Foundation announced it has awarded eight scholarships for the 2020-21 school year.

Kaylee Camblin, attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and Emily Trejo, Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, are the recipients of the Charla Berry Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was founded in memory of Berry by her family with scholarships being awarded for more than 19 years.

Savannah Burris receives the Winona Rouze Nursing Scholarship and is attending the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. The scholarship was created in memory of Rouze by her family with the first scholarship awarded in 2011.

Grace Dille, Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, and Traeli Hutches, Colorado State University, receive the Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship was created in 2012. Funds continue to be raised each year through the annual MMHF Legacy Event.  This scholarship fund has also been designated by several families for their loved one’s memorials.
