Laura Gerk earns bachelor’s from UNC

    Laura Gerk graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley Saturday, May 6. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences with a concentration in pre-health and biomedical sciences.
    During her time at UNC, Gerk was a Biology Club member, a cellular and molecular cancer research leader, and a participant in intramural softball and basketball.
    Gerk has accepted a job with Colorado Parks & Wildlife as a lab technician/bacteriologist at the Aquatic Animal Health Lab in Brush.
    She is a 2012 graduate of Holyoke High School and the daughter of Casey and Hollie Gerk of Holyoke.
