Jimenez, Vernon selected for internships
Holyoke High School juniors Diego Jimenez and Mason Vernon were recently selected from seven interviewed candidates for intern positions that will directly support the design and construction team for the school district’s Building Excellent Schools Today project.
Howell Construction from Denver, the design-builder for this project, interviewed seven junior and senior students from HHS for summer internships.
“We wanted to give HHS students a real-life opportunity to learn about our industry,” said Andy Stewart, vice president of Howell Construction and 1985 graduate of HHS.
“The students we selected have demonstrated a clear interest in future careers in architecture and construction,” said Stewart.
