HHS FFA wins CDE honors at CSU

    All the acronyms make for a bit of a mouthful, but the Holyoke High School chapter of FFA recently had the opportunity to compete in Career Development Events on the state level. On May 5-6, members traveled to the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins to test their skills learned through agricultural education instruction.
    Holyoke’s farm business management team, made up of Tristen Roll, Theron Roll, Tuff Sigler and Corben McCallum, finished third and earned gold. Tristen Roll also earned a gold individually, placing fourth. Alex Vieslemeyer claimed an individual gold and a second place finish in livestock judging.
