Gordon student teaches in 4th grade

Students in Melanie Wheeler’s fourth grade classroom will be seeing a new face this year. Sharlene Gordon will be working with the students as she completes her student teaching at Holyoke Elementary School this fall.
Wheeler will be connecting with the classroom virtually, while Gordon will be physically present at the school.
Gordon already has experience at Holyoke School District with three years under her belt as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. She has also taught English as a second language classes for Phillips County Family Education Services, in addition to being the manager of a swimming pool and serving as a Girl Scout leader.
