Free meals remain available to kids throughout school closure

With all the unknowns surrounding COVID-19, where a child’s next meal is coming from shouldn’t be one of them. As long as Holyoke schools remain closed in response to the coronavirus pandemic, free breakfast and lunch will remain available Monday-Friday to any child age 1-18.

Meals can be picked up in front of Holyoke Elementary each weekday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Any child in that age range, regardless of the family’s free/reduced lunch eligibility, can participate, but the child must be present in order to pick up the meals.

To assist with planning, those who would like to participate should call the district office (970-854-3634), the JR/SR high office (970-854-2284) or the elementary office (970-854-3411). If there is no answer, leave a message.
