Elementary band brings The Sounds of Spring

Fifth- and sixth-grade band members performed for a packed elementary school gym at the end of the year “The Sounds of Spring” concert Tuesday, May 23.
    The elementary band program played under the direction of Chris Lampkin.
    To start the evening performance, the fifth-grade band played “Homework Blues.”
    The following are members of the fifth-grade band, by instrument:
    —Flute: Leslie Carrasco Brown, Azury Chaparro Rangel, Katelyn Kropp, Tayla Martin and Yoselin Peña.
    —Clarinet: Anna Hayes, Chase Johnson, Andrea Marquez and Aleida Millan.
    —Alto saxophone: Damari Fernandez Perez, Carter Van Overbeke, Xavier Morales, Jessi Owens and Joseph Schroetlin.
