    Northeastern Junior College in Sterling has released its honor roll list for the 2019 spring semester and reports that 228 full-time students were given high academic achievement recognition, including several from Holyoke.
    Those on the President’s List who earned a 4.0 GPA include Cassandra Chappell, Jacinda Krueger and Alyssa Sprague. Christina Ortega was on the Vice President’s List with a 3.75-3.99 GPA.
    In Eldorado, Kansas, more than 150 students with 3.75 or higher GPAs were recognized for their outstanding academic performance May 17 during Butler Community College’s Order of the Purple Heart and Honors Recognition Ceremony.
    Austin Vieselmeyer of Amherst met the academic standards to graduate with Order of Purple Honors. He is a 2016 graduate of Holyoke High School and the son of Brent and Tina Vieselmeyer of Amherst.
