American Enterprise project places 5th at national FBLA competition in Chicago

Seventeen Holyoke High School FBLA members competed at the national conference in Chicago, Illinois, from June 27-July 3, and one team of three brought home a trophy.

Jimena Nuñez, Hannah Lindholm and Fatima Nuñez placed fifth in the nation with their American Enterprise project, which encouraged the community to shop locally.

Adviser Lori Nelson said there were approximately 11,500 students in attendance from all 50 states and multiple countries, and only the top 6% of competitors received trophies.

Holyoke’s 3D animation team of Gage Sprague, Johny Quintana and Kailar Hayes made it to the final round.
