Ambulance ride promotes EMS week
In conjunction with National EMS Week May 20-26, the Holyoke emergency medical services team held a coloring contest. The winners were treated to an ambulance ride to school the morning of Thursday, May 24.
The following students placed in the coloring contest:
— Kingergarten: Alec Goytia, first; Yareli Goytia, second; Luella Hensley, third; and Yanni Zuniga Garcia, fourth.
— First grade: Rebekah Krieger, first; Izamar Montes, second; Joselyn Reynoso, third; and Deisy Medrano, fourth.
— Second grade: Emily Peña, first; Yuridia Juarez, second; Macie Maloney, third; and Sophie Seeley, fourth.
— Third grade: Roxy Santos, first; Angel Gonzalez, second; Brett Schroetlin, third; and Dayami Trejo, fourth.
