4 HHS students selected to attend Colorado Boys State in July

Holyoke High School students Levi Ford, Diego Jimenez, Kenneth Lindholm and Kailar Hayes have been selected to represent Holyoke American Legion Post No. 90 at Colorado Boys State this year. All four students will be seniors at HHS next fall.

Boys State will be held July 11-16 at Hotel Elegante Conference & Event Center in Colorado Springs.

Boys State has been a program of the American Legion National Americanism Commission since 1935, and Colorado Boys State has been conducted annually since 1949. More than 25,000 young men participate in the American Legion Boys State program each year.

American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students in the nation.
