Wesley Hunt

    Wesley Scott Hunt died Nov. 26, 2017, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 41. He was born March 30, 1976, in Hill City, Kansas, to Kay (Hunt) Rogers.
    He grew up in the Palco, Kansas, area before the family moved during his junior high school years to Holyoke, where he graduated from Holyoke High School with the Class of 1995.
    On Aug. 23, 1997, he was united in marriage to Tracy Klippert at the Red Line Church of God near Palco. They were blessed with one daughter, Willow.
    Wesley was an avid outdoorsman. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher, volunteered time with the Rooks County Free Fair and the Fair Board, and liked hunting and fishing whenever he had the opportunity. But the time he enjoyed the most was when he could spend it with his daughter, Willow, supporting her in all of her school and other activities.
    Wesley is survived by his daughter, Willow Hunt of Plainville, Kansas; former spouse, Tracy Hunt of Plainville; mother, Kay Hunt Rogers and husband David of Newton, Kansas; and sisters, Elizabeth Arnold and husband John and Rachel Henson and husband Jessie, all of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse Hunt, Charles Rogers and Emma Rogers; uncles, James Hunt and Don Lawver; and aunts, Dorothy Lawver and Ruby Brungardt.
    Funeral services were held Dec. 1 at the United Methodist Church in Plainville. Burial followed in the Morlan Township Cemetery near Palco.
