Lois Boller

    Lois Marlene Weldon Boller was born Nov. 30, 1934, to Joseph and Ruth Aldendorf Weldon in Elkhart, Indiana. Lois died Jan. 26, 2018, in Mount Hope, Kansas, surrounded by her daughter, son and grandsons. Lois had a sister, Jackie Weldon Yowell, and three brothers, Robert, Charles and Gary Weldon.
    She met Marvin Lloyd Boller when she went with her friend Lawana Boller and their parents to pick him up after returning from the Korean War. They were married on his parents’ 25th wedding anniversary, Sept. 23, 1953. They divorced in 1975, and he passed away in 1999. To this union, three children were born: Ronald Craig, Debra Kay and David Alan.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jackie; brothers, Robert and Gary; son, Ron; and granddaughter, Katrina Dawn Pipes.
    Lois is survived by her daughter, Debbie and husband Mike of Wichita, Kansas; son, David and wife Aleta of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter-in-law, Pam Boller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Charlie and wife Ruthann of Avoca, Michigan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lawana and George Browning of Holyoke; grandchildren, Rebecca and Sarah Boller of Tulsa, Paul and wife Katie Pipes of Topeka, Kansas, Kenneth and wife Jordan Boller of Joplin, Missouri, and Kameron and wife Angelica Boller of Mount Hope; nieces, Carol Yowell Schlachter, Melissa Weldon Victory and Pam Browning Dammann; nephews, Bruce Yowell and Richard Browning; and great-grandchildren, Emery, Penelope and Davina Pipes and Arya and Phoenix Boller.
    A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
