John McCormick - death notice

    John Thomas “J.T.” McCormick of Surprise, Arizona, died April 12, 2018, after a brief illness. He was born in Holyoke in 1931 to Lester and Henrietta McCormick. During his childhood, the family worked in farming in the Wages community.
    He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Darlene McCormick, and brothers, Larry and Dean McCormick.
    He is survived by his sister, Norma Jean Houston of Holyoke, and three daughters, Vanessa Heinzerling, Connie Hoofard and Debbie Shaver. He was a loving and caring grandfather to Suzanne Emch, Christina Devenport, Justin Yingling, Melissa Devenport, Stephanie Land and Jeffrey Yingling. He loved and adored all of his great-grandchildren.
    Services were held April 27 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
