Jo Alice Hibbard

Jo Alice Hibbard was born Jan. 23, 1927, to Howard and Neva (Korf) Harlan in Spring Ranch, Nebraska. She died July 16, 2022, in Bayard, Nebraska, at the age of 95.

Jo Alice married Charles Hibbard. She worked for the Sentinel Newspaper in Denver, along with being a wife and mother.

Jo Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Neva and Howard Harlan; husband, Charles Hibbard; son, Mike Hibbard; brother, Jerry Harlan; and sister, Mary Markley.

Jo Alice is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Hibbard; granddaughters, Desiree and Tom Thomas and family of Mitchell, Nebraska, and Danea Hibbard and family of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandsons, Brad Lenhart and Bryan Lenhart; great-grandchildren, Chantel Trubilla of Austin, Texas, Gracie Nelson of Mitchell, Andie Parminter of Mitchell, Tucker Thomas of Mitchell, Roger Mesna of Nebraska and Brandi Bjork of Nebraska; and great-great-grandchildren, Waylon Nelson, Wes Nelson and Sophia Trubilla.

Jo Alice requested there be no services.

Baucke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
