    Florence Irene Werner, age 101, died May 4, 2018, at her home in Greeley. She was born Nov. 20, 1916, on a farmstead south of Holyoke to Thomas and Edith Hargreaves.
    She married Orville G. Werner on Dec. 25, 1935, in Sterling. They were married for 69 years.
    She and Orville lived on the family farm east of Holyoke until December 1965 when they moved to Greeley. She was very involved in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and always looked forward to being a greeter.
    She enjoyed celebrating her 100th birthday at a party with many family and friends. She loved being the center of attention that day and telling stories. Her friendly smile will be greatly missed by all.
    She is survived by her daughter, Glennis Taylor and husband Ken; two sons, Duane and wife Leslie and Richard and wife Sandy; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; one sister, Dorothy Lohman and husband Ted; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant daughter; and four sisters, Anna Mae, Catherine, Mildred and Margaret.
    Graveside services were scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Holyoke Cemetery.
