Cass Cannon

    Katheryn C. Cannon died Dec. 15, 2018, at Regent Park nursing home in Holyoke. She was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Elsie, Nebraska, the fifth child of Dale and Pauline Martin.
    Her family moved southeast of Holyoke in 1943. Cass attended elementary school at Cement School in Yuma County, graduating from Holyoke High School in 1959. She was very active in high school in many activities.
    She married Glenn Woods of Holyoke, and they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She later married Gary Cannon in 1964. To this union, two sons — Roland and Lane — were born.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, and son, Lane.
    She is survived by her son, Roland and wife Kathie of Salt Lake City; grandson, Cole and wife Jordan of Japan; granddaughters, Kaitlyn of Grand Junction and Amie of Salt Lake City; brother, Bob Martin of Wray; and sisters, Bonnie and Jim McFadden of Holyoke, Jackie and Don Hill of Burkburnett, Texas, and Ronda and Bob Fetzer of Haxtun.
    Cass’ body was donated to Science Care, so no service will be held.
