FBLA celebrates outstanding year

Holyoke High School FBLA celebrated the end of the school year with an awards program Thursday, April 28.

The chapter was thrilled to have 51 members involved in FBLA this year, including 18 new members.

This was the first year that Holyoke added a junior high chapter, led by adviser Kody Timm. “We are excited about what the future holds for our organization because of this,” said HHS adviser Lori Nelson.

She was pleased to announce that the 2021-22 outstanding member was freshman Ben Kleve. He contributed to the concessions stand, T-shirts and donut sales. He also placed first and second at districts and second at state. “But what really has stood out about Ben is how willing he is to help our chapter and business department succeed by continually stopping in to see if he can help in any way. We can count on him,” said Nelson.
