Workforce education funding program Nov. 17

Holyoke Chamber of Commerce is hosting a community program on workforce education funding Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 5:30 p.m. at Phillips County Event Center.

The program will explain how American Rescue Plan Act funding is being directly funneled to employers/business owners to increase their own workforce’s productivity and value. The funding is available for businesses to use for expanding training and education of current employees.

Information will also be presented on how individuals can pursue education through certificate programs, trade school programs and more. Anyone who wants to enter a new trade or career area now has the opportunity to do that with little to no out-of-pocket costs.
