Spring Fest celebrates Dragon pride

Holyoke JR/SR High School is celebrating Dragon pride with Spring Fest this week. COVID-19 prevented homecoming activities in the fall, so the fun was moved to the spring.

A parade will be held Thursday, April 1, at 2 p.m. Entries will line up on Bignel Street at 1:30 p.m. and travel south on Interocean Avenue, ending at the football field. A pep rally is then scheduled at the field, and the Spring Fest king and queen will be crowned.

Other activities include twin day on Monday, pajama day on Tuesday and tropical/Hawaiian day on Wednesday. Students will dress in their class colors for Spring Fest Olympic Games on Thursday morning, and the week’s festivities will end with a dance in the old gym Thursday evening.
