Cattle producer webinar series planned

Nebraska Extension Beef Team will be hosting a webinar series to help cattle producers plan for and manage during drought. A free webinar will be held each Tuesday at 7 p.m. The series started the first week of March, but the past webinars are recorded and can be found at https://beef.unl.edu/beefwatch-webinar-series. People can register for upcoming sessions at the same website.

The following are the available webinars:

— March 2, “Preparing to Make Decisions During a Drought.” Dr. Jay Parsons, University of Nebraska-Lincoln discusses decision making and the importance of early planning. He outlines a process for being better prepared to make decisions in stressful situations, creating better alternatives and avoiding common pitfalls.
