Gordon earns bachelor’s

With a 4.0 grade point average, Sharlene Gordon earned a bachelor’s degree in science elementary education from Grand Canyon University in a virtual graduation Oct. 16.

Gordon is a 2006 graduate of Eaton High School. She earned an Associate of Liberal Arts degree from Aims Community College in 2008.

She plans to continue teaching at Holyoke Elementary School as a long-term substitute and hopes to obtain a teaching position in the district next year.
