Sounds of the season
The sounds of the season came alive Monday evening, Dec. 16, at the annual winter band concert at the Holyoke High School auditorium.
Instrumentalists in grades 5-12 were under the direction of band teacher Aaron Cottam.
Fifth graders made up the largest band of the night. Selections included “Merrily We Roll Along,” “Jingle Bells,” “Good King Wenceslas” and “Dreydl, Dreydl.”
The sixth grade band played “This Old Man,” “Hey, Ho! Nobody’s Home” and “Rock This Band!”
