Celia Spady - death notice

Celia J. Spady, longtime resident of Champion, Nebraska, died Sunday morning, Aug. 11, 2019, at her home in Champion. Celia was 79 years of age.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia and Dennis Dahlkoetter of Grant, Nebraska; sons, Mark and Michelle Spady of Imperial, Nebraska, and Blaine and Robin Spady of Lincoln, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Richard and Loretta Karns of Kearney, Missouri, and John Karns of Imperial.

Visitation was scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 15, from 2-6 p.m. at Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Imperial, with Rev. Bob Call and Pastor Kent Griffen officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.

A memorial has been suggested to the Spady family to be designated in Celia’s memory.
