Jane Kramer

    Jane Ann Musselman Kramer was born Aug. 26, 1949, to Ed and Helen Musselman in Wheatland, Wyoming. She died May 25, 2019.
    Jane attended school in Wheatland and graduated with the class of 1967. Following graduation, she attended Presbyterian Medical Center of Nursing and graduated with the class of 1972. On Feb. 16, 1973, Jane married Gene Kramer in Sterling. A daughter, Heather Nicole, was born in March 1974.
    Jane’s passion was being a nurse and taking care of others in the nursing home and hospital settings. As the director of home health care, she took care of so many people all over Yuma County. She felt that health care was so important for the community of Wray, so instead of 9Health Fair where things weren’t done locally, Jane developed Wray Community District Hospital Health Fair where things were kept in house.
    In 1997, Jane decided to retire from nursing and enjoy her other passion, her green thumb. To pursue this passion, Jane and her daughter, Nicole, opened The Green Stem. Jane enjoyed designing arrangements, and it allowed her to be creative. In 2004, Jane retired from The Green Stem to enjoy a slower pace, growing things in her greenhouse and being involved with her grandchildren.
    Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen Musselman, and in-laws, AC and Marie Kramer.
    She is survived by her husband, Gene; daughter, Nicole and husband Steve; granddaughters, Malaika and Breelynn Frank; grandson, Pason Frank; brother, Norman Musselman and wife Linda of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.
    Jane requested no services and a private family inurnment.
