Skomp receives 2019 Nightingale Luminary Award

    Jessica Skomp, FNP, has been selected as a regional Nightingale Luminary Award winner and is in the running for the Statewide Nightingale Luminary Award.
    She has been a registered nurse for 13 years and a family nurse practitioner for almost four years. She has worked with Melissa Memorial Hospital for over six years.
    Skomp enjoyed her regional celebration for her 2019 Nightingale Luminary Award on Wednesday, March 20, at a celebration hosted by MMH.
    The Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing is Colorado nursing’s highest honor and celebrates outstanding nurses. Nominees from two categories are nominated for recognition by their employers and “should have advanced the profession of nursing or has positively impacted his/her community.”
