CSU floats new beekeepers class

Colorado State University Extension is offering a beekeeping mentorship course for educating current and aspiring beekeepers.
This is an opportunity to join CSU and learn through seven classroom sessions with some reading and homework assignments between classes. The classes will be three hours in duration. Graduates will be able to mentor other beekeepers with issues and problems.
Students are required to volunteer for 30 hours after the classroom sessions, which keeps the course affordable. In the second year, students are required to volunteer for 15 hours minimum and have nine hours of continuing education to keep their status as a beekeeper mentor.
