Northeast Feed, 4S Feed hosting special event

    Northeast Feed of Ovid and 4S Feed of Haxtun invite all cattle producers to the Purina Research Farm to Ranch VIP Experience at the Phillips County Event Center and Pavilion on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from noon-7:30 p.m.
    This unique, one-time event will be an opportunity to get a taste of the actual three-day VIP trip to the 1,200-acre Purina Research Farm in Gray Summit, Missouri.  
    Attendees will be treated to lunch and dinner, as well as live cattle demonstrations. Purina nutrition researchers will present several relevant topics, including the latest research from Purina animal nutrition, fetal programming, heifer development, rumenology, body condition scoring, meeting the needs of stressed calves and managing mineral nutrition.
    After dinner, Zoetis will present the keynote speaker, Dr. Gary Sides, who will guide members of the audience through the rocky waters of modern agriculture in a Facebook culture.
