Colorado Post-Polio traveling clinic is scheduling survivor evaluations

Polio survivors will soon have an opportunity for a nearby polio evaluation through the Colorado Post-Polio traveling clinic.
The evaluation includes education about post-polio, an assessment of muscle function, a review of the relationship of polio to other diagnoses, recommendations to address issues and a written report. Those who wish to schedule an appointment should contact Dr. Marny Eulberg, M.D., at 303-829-538 or marnyeul@me.com before Monday, April 30, to be included in the 2018 schedule.
Colorado Post-Polio Clinic, co-founded and conducted by Eulberg, has been in operation since 1989, working first out of Mercy Hospital and then out of St. Anthony’s North Hospital in the Denver area. Over the years, Eulberg has seen more than 1,600 polio survivors, evaluated their current level of functioning, and made recommendations that can help them maintain and/or improve their quality of life.
