Free preschool screening scheduled

    Northeast Colorado BOCES, in conjunction with Holyoke School District RE-1J and Northeast Colorado Health Department, will be offering free developmental screening to children ages 6 months through 5 years — children who will not attend kindergarten next year.
    The screen will briefly evaluate the areas of language, gross and fine motor, pre-academic development, hearing and other medical needs. All parents with preschool-aged children are encouraged to participate in this screening. Please bring the child’s immunization records to the Child Find screen.
    Children living in the Holyoke area can be screened Friday, April 6, from 8:30 a.m.-noon at Dragon’s Wagon Preschool. Call the school at 970-854-2999 to schedule an appointment for screening.
