Heidi’s plans changes in management

    With an increase in business, Heidi Spitz has announced that she’s looking at some changes in management with Heidi’s Coffee and Bake Shop, located at 215 N. Interocean Ave. in Holyoke.
    She’s not going anywhere but will focus specifically on Heidi’s Cakes, as she continues to offer specialty cake decorating.
    Spitz will be partnering for management of the coffee shop, which will be run by general manager Audrey Ault, with assistance from Cherene Vasa and other part-time staff.
    Customers will not notice much of a change, as business will continue at the coffee and bake shop, where coffee, sandwiches, salads, cookies and other baked goods will continue to highlight the menu.
    There may be some minor additions to the menu, but no major changes will be seen. Customer input for menu items has always been appreciated, and that philosophy will continue.
    Additionally, hours will remain the same for the time being — Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The coffee and bake shop phone will remain as 970-854-2253, while Spitz can be reached for Heidi’s Cakes at 970-580-9549.
