Ag Innovators is March 15

    The Ag Innovators Series focus on irrigation will be held Thursday, March 15, at the Community Center in Yuma from 1-5:30 p.m. The focus of the Ag Innovators Series is to assist area producers improve their irrigation efficiency and profitability through better understanding and utilization of best management practices and technology.
    Confirmed speakers include Dr. Chad Godsey of Godsey Precision Ag, who will be presenting on understanding soil water holding capacity and plant water use to improve irrigation scheduling. Louise Comos, plant physiologist from United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service, will be speaking on water productivity under strategic growth stage-based deficit irrigation in corn.
