Local banks host savings information, giveaways

    For the 2018 America Saves Week effort, Colorado State University Extension has partnered with Bank of Colorado, Bank of the West, First Pioneer National Bank and Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union, as well as Haxtun Community Federal Credit Union and Haxtun Points West Community Bank, to raise awareness for the importance of saving and financial management practices.
    Extension has provided a display at each site promoting America Saves Week with handouts and brochures about savings, credit scores, financial fitness, budgeting and more.
    Each site also has a drawing for a leather safe-travels traverse wallet. Patrons will be able take advantage of the drawing and financial management information through Monday, March 12. Six winners for the leather wallets will be drawn, one from each bank location.
