Highline renovation adds to office safety, functionality

    Highline Electric Association is wrapping up a remodeling project at its headquarters facility on the south edge of Holyoke. These renovations are intended to increase safety and functionality as well as decrease confusion for members.
    Prior to the project, visitors to Highline’s office would enter the front door and find themselves in the middle of the front office pool. The remodel project involved enclosing the entryway and directing visitors’ focus to the front desk. Those needing to see other Highline personnel will be directed into the inner office after being admitted by an employee.
     Renovations began Jan. 22. During this time the front door has been inaccessible, diverting walk-in traffic to the south break room door. It is anticipated that the construction will be done in the next few weeks and Highline’s visitors will once again be welcomed through the front door.
