Charles Brown

    Charles W. Brown, age 91, of Erie, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Nov. 8, 2017, at ForestView Health Care Center.
    He was born Aug. 2, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Charles F. and Marguerite Braun Brown. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
    He was a 1950 graduate of the University of Colorado and was a certified public accountant with Brown Schwab Bergquist & Company. He was a life member of the American and Pennsylvania institutes of certified public accountants.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Geraldine Lutze.
    Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lee Graham Brown; daughter, Karen Brown of Erie; and son, Bruce E. Brown and wife Linda and their children Elliott and Grace, all of West Seneca, New York.
     The service was held Nov. 11 at Burton Westlake Funeral Home in Erie, with inurnment in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Columbarium.
